The quiet power of introverts
This is a beautiful video about what it's like to be an introvert and a lovely explanation of the different chemical responses of the extrovert and the introvert.
If you knew me, you might think I'm an extrovert, I'm comfortable in my own skin and I do love being in the company of other people and I feel energised by conversation.
But not always, and when I leave that space I need to recharge and regroup with myself, I can be overwhelmed by the noise and chatter of others if I don't get it. I need downtime, and that's okay. It's self-compassion.
Does this resonate? Or perhaps you're an extrovert? How does that play out in your relationships with friends and partners?
